Saved: Writing About Video Games
A downloadable book
I've been writing about games for long enough that some of my earliest pieces are lost, which is honestly a blessing. But some of my work which has either gone completely or been broken by updates — writing for sites like Glixel, ZAM, and Gamesbeat — is stuff I'm still proud of. I've chosen seven articles, on subjects like one studio's doomed, years-long attempt to make a Max Max game, and why there are so many dang elves in games, and the symbolism of save points in Silent Hill, as well as interviews with the creators of comics based on Team Fortress 2 and The Witcher, and bundled them together for you and, like, posterity or whatever.
